CT technicians use computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the internal organs and tissues of patients to identify medical disorders. This career-focused paramedical training program teaches students fundamental CT scanning abilities, such as how to operate the scanner, take photographs, and deliver records to the senior doctors who need to see them. While operating under the supervision of licensed physicians or radiologists, these employees carefully adhere to their instructions. General Anatomy & Physiology (Cytology, Histology, Osteology, and the fundamentals of all human organs) are thoroughly covered in the first year of the curriculum, and the skull, brain, and spinal cord are also closely examined. Students also learn about radio physics, radiographic postures and radiation risks, hand hygiene, and cross-infection avoidance.
