Paramedical courses include those in nursing, radiography, emergency first aid, physiotherapy, and other fields that complement medical work but do not require a fully qualified doctor. These offerings may also be referred to as pre-hospital or emergency care. Paramedical diploma programs are available in addition to degree programs. The AIIMS conducts its own admissions test for paramedical programs. There are paramedical certificate and diploma programs accessible after completing the tenth grade. Several paramedical degrees are well-known, including nursing, an OT Technician Diploma, a Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma, a B.Sc. in Radiotherapy, and many others.
