CMS (Community Medical Service ) and EDT (ESSENTIAL DRUGS TRAINING)Courses are designed on the guidelines of the World Health Organization and adopted by SHREE COLLEGE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCESto mitigate the need for Community Health Workers, increase the health awareness, and extend Primary Health aid among villagers. That, no student of CMS And EDT Courses will be a doctor nor the organization offers a qualification of a doctor of any conventional stream whatsoever it may be, to any person undergoing the said CMS and EDT Course or courses, the above Mentioned (CMS and EDT) Courses are purely certificated courses of SHREE COLLEGE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES, an independent organization that is not a university or College. That, the students of these courses will always be taught by at least two qualified MBBS Doctors, authorized by the center in this regard. A system of collection of information should be developed, regarding problems affecting the health of the villagers, through passed out health workers in that particular field e.g. due to pollution of water,air, food, sanitation problems, etc. The student/Trainees, as well as the Doctors imparting training, are to be persuaded always, verbally in addition to written instructions in ED Book, etc.to cooperate and help each other regarding Villagers' health problems referred to them.
